Montreal producer Lanuit fell into music at a very young age, like Obélix fell into the magic potion and always wanted to make it his career. Already, at 10 years old, he memorized the lyrics of Dubmatique, Beastie Boys, IAM, Method Man and several other artists who influenced him. Using a vinyl of “I love rock and roll,” his first hip-hop song was created using “scratch” techniques when he was no more than 11 years old. As an adult, now a multi-instrumentalist, he specializes in the creation of soundtracks and original music for audiovisual productions that bring him to Toronto and Los Angeles. Along the way, he won a Gémeaux in the “best film score” category for Takedown, a film about Georges St-Pierre. This parallel career also led her to collaborate with several renowned artists, including Charlotte Cardin, Fanny Bloom and Ariane Moffatt. Wishing to warm hearts and make joy flourish, the artist is now offering a new project, born in the depths of winter, when the moon is more present than the sun and the cold numbs us. Behind Lanuit's hip-hop-influenced pop songs lies a festive universe that will make you want to transform your bedroom, living room or kitchen island into a wild dance floor!
