Boucane Ménard is the solo project of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Nathan Ménard. Originally from Sherbrooke, he made his debut on the emerging Sherbrooke music scene with the band Suspicious Stew in 2019. It was in 2022, after moving to Montreal, that the Boucane Ménard project was born, and he presented his compositions for the first time at Quai des Brumes. This pop-rock project is imbued with the artist's love for English melodists (The Beatles, The Zombies) of the 1960s and great French-language songwriters (Félix Leclerc, Gilles Vigneault). While possessing a vintage feel, his music is refreshing and imbued with dreams and romance. With the release of the song "J'ai un bateau", he performed on the stages of L'escogriffe, Le Verre bouteille, Le Quai des Brumes, La petite Boite Noire and more recently as a semi-finalist at the Palace de Granby as part of the Festival International de la Chanson de Granby.
